Leftist Quickies the Seventh

Because you work too many hours a day and spend what little free time you have trying to unwind, here’s some more Leftist Quickies for you.

1- Your paycheck isn’t a favor, it’s a debt being repaid. You don’t “beg” for a debt to be repaid, you DEMAND it. And if the debt isn’t repaid on time, you raise hell until it is!

2- Respect from your boss isn’t “earned,” it’s given. You’re a human being, and thus deserved to be treated with dignity! And if your boss thinks they can grope you, bully you, humiliate you, or try to take advantage of you in some way or another, you RAISE HELL!

2a- Your boss isn’t your monarch, or your deity. Don’t be afraid of them.

3- “Nobody wants to work!” is the loud part; the quiet part is “for peanuts while being treated like shit!”

4– JOIN YOUR UNION!!! Listen to Woodie Guthrie!

5- Your boss doesn’t have to like you, but they DO have to do right by you. Don’t worry about them liking you, worry about them paying you on time and treating you with dignity and respect.
