Andy Ngo is no victim

In Puerto Rico we have a term called “busca bulla” which means “fight seeker;” essentially, someone who’s looking to start a fight or an altercation. Nine times out of ten, they get their asses kicked by those they sought to fight, and rightly so. Andy Ngo is a journalist who was reporting on some Antifa activity, and then got assaulted for it. For the past day or so, most newslines have been reporting this as a violent attack against a sexual and ethnic minority reporter perpetrated by those who claim to be fighting for said minorities. Problem is this is fake news; Andy Ngo is no victim, he’s a busca bulla.

First off some important background information: Andy Cuong Ngo is NOT some neutral observer. He is, in fact, a conservative reporter; one whose contributions to the world of journalism are unequivocally and unapologetically slanted to the Right of the political spectrum. One of his most infamous episodes occurred in the month of May 2017. In Ngo’s own words, he was fired for “doing his job;” reporting on an interfaith panel (https://www.nationalreview.com/2017/05/free-speech-islam-portland-state-vanguard-editor-fired-tweets/) where a Muslim student said something that could be construed the wrong way. Truth, though, is that Ngo made the following mistakes:

1- He took the words of a college student as holding equal weight to the official word of an Imam or an Ayatollah. You certainly don’t hold a college student’s words to hold the same weight as that of a priest in regards to what’s written in the Bible, correct?

2- Ngo took the student’s words in bad faith and used them to subtly condemn the Islamic faith. He literally tweeted “Muslim student in multifaith panel said apostates will be killed or banished in Islamic state.” Certainly not the way a professional journalist would report it.

3- Ngo was NOT attending the event in official journalist capacity, meaning he crossed a line he should not have.

4- Ngo’s tweet was used by infamous news site Breitbart in a hit piece against Islam. Rather than be angered at said site using his tweet without his permission, or understanding on how his actions could have harmed a college student whose crime was saying something he probably had little idea about, Ngo doubled down and said “but that shit happens in real life!” And yeah it does, but is that an excuse to put a student’s life and family in danger?

By refusing to protest the use of his tweet by Breitbart, Andy Ngo has implicitly condoned said action, and has so become party to whatever garbage said website spews using said tweet.

But I’ve digressed. Andy Ngo has dedicated himself to reporting on the going ons in Portland’s antifa activism. His headlines really do make clear his stance on the whole matter, such as:

Anarchy Breaks out in Portland, with the Mayor’s Blessing (https://www.wsj.com/articles/anarchy-breaks-out-in-portland-with-the-mayors-blessing-1533331454)

A Leftist Mob ‘Polices’ Portland (https://www.wsj.com/articles/a-leftist-mob-polices-portland-1539298766)

With such a past history of clear and obvious bias, one must then ask this simple question: why would anyone see Andy Ngo reporting about clashes in Portland and NOT assume he was there to make the Left-leaning protesters look bad?

Thing about Fake News? It’s real; the amount of publications both on and offline that seek to give you unbiased, truthful reporting are far outnumbered by the publications that want to control what you think. Huffington Post, Breitbart, InfoWars, Rebel Media, CNN, FOX News, the list goes on and on.

Andy Ngo isn’t interested in giving you a fair and balanced view of antifa’s actions or beliefs, he’s interested in making sure you think “antifa bad, Proud Boys good.” I looked over most of the articles he has written online, and have only found ONE that can be construed as condemning white nationalism, and even it has far too neutral a tone; a neutrality missing when discussing Left-Wing ideology.

Also I found NOTHING condemning the 2017 Charleston “Unite the Right” march, nor the murder of Heather Hayer. How many people have antifa killed? Because Heather Hayer’s blood is in the hands of every organization that associated with said march, INCLUDING the Proud Boys.

Andy Ngo is no victim; he’s a busca bulla. And don’t let any news site trick you into thinking otherwise; he was there to make antifa and all Leftists look bad so he and his ilk could trick you into applauding the Proud Boys for beating them up. Let they who have eyes, see!
